The Church of St. Michael is a Roman Catholic church in the Swiss city of Basel. It is located in the Hirzbrunnen district. It is dedicated to the Archangel Michael.
The church was built between 1948 and 1950 under the architect Hermann Baur. The altar and the baptismal font come from the artist Albert Schilling, who died in 1987 and who lived in Arlesheim. The tabernacle and some liturgical implements such as chalice, bowl, monstrance and lecture cross come from the Basel goldsmith Isabella Siedler. The masonry stones are made of hewn Jura limestone.
In 2004 the parishes of St. Michael and St. Clara became the parish of St. Clara – St. Michael put together.
